OUR MISSION
The purpose of the Society for Research in Human Development is to stimulate and support research in human development, to encourage cooperation among individuals who are engaged in the scientific study of human development, and to encourage the application of research findings.

SRHD BYLAWS
The Society for Research in Human Development (SHRD) advances the scientific study of human development through collaboration, research support, and biennial meetings.

OUR HISTORY
The Society for Research in Human Development (SRHD) was originally founded in 1976 under the name of the Southwestern Society for Research in Human Development (SWSRHD). In 2002, the name was officially changed to the Society for Research in Human Development.

GUIDING VALUES
The Society for Research in Human Development (SRHD) has created numerous resolutions and statements that emphasize our guiding values.

BOARD MEMBERS
The Board of Directors consists of the President, the Past President, the President-Elect, the Secretary-Historian, the Treasurer, two Members-at-Large, and the Student Representative.
